Deed Book 6 page 404, 6 April 1761, Daniel Winn of Lunenburg Co., for
natural love and affection which he bears for his daughter Martisha, wife of
Cornelius Crenshaw, deeds to said Crenshaw a negro gal named Samander and
her increase.
Daniel (father) gave Martisha property in Lunenburg Co., Va. 6 April 1761.

Will book 3 page 240 Dec. 28, 1785--pr. Feb. 9, 1788 names wife Martitia and
sons Daniel, Nathan, Pleasant, Cornelius and Forten (fortune), wife Martitia
and son Daniel to be executors.
Will book 4 page 97 9 July, 1975 Estate of Cornelius Crenshaw administered
by James Jennings and Martitia, his wife.
NOTE: Martitia Winn Crenshaw, widow of Cornelius, married James Jennings
Dec. 18, 1787. They had a son, Alex Winn Jennings, born May 13, 1790.
Deed book 18 page 49, 14June, 1798--Alexander Winn appointed executor in
place of Martitia Crenshaw estate of Cornelius Crenshaw.

sale lists buyers as his wife, Elizabeth, John Harrison, Jr. and Major Crenshaw. Pleasant Crenshaw's first marriage was to Martha Jackson 1788 in Charlotte County, VA. The marriage of Pleasant Crenshaw to Elizabeth Mayes was in Lunenburg.
