1871 he has moved to Station Terrace, Ystrad y fodwy.
He lives as a lodger aged 24 with a family called Williams, Samuel age 29, Winefred aged 29, William s age 8, and David aged 3.
In 1871 he marries Eliza Fanny Napper in Keynsham, Sommerset, Wales.
William was an engine driver (railways) at this time and had met Eliza as she lived on the railway station in Keynsham. Her families address being Great Western Railway Station, Great Keynsham in the 1871 census. She was the daughter of Charles (born about 1818) and Mary Ann (nee Spratt, born abt 1827). Keynsham is in Wiltshire.
By 1881 the family are living in wales as follows:

They are boarders with a family named Hurlow.

In 1891 the families address is 5 taff street, llanwonno, blaenllechau, the family is listed as the same (+10 yrs) except eliza fanny is missing and john age 7 born ferndale, and arthur age 3 born ferndale and david age 1 born ferndale are added.
In 1894 Edith Ann marries William Smith in the spring at pontypridd :.William was the son of mary ann and joseph smith. William was born in 1871 at st hilary and died on 18th Feb 1937 aged 66 and is buried with Edith in St Senwyr chuchyard, llansannor, Glamorgan. Williams grandparents were Paul and Anne Smith (origionally from Sommerset), I am still researching this branch, Smith is not an easy name!! William and Edith had 4 children :
William Joseph born 1896, died march 5th 1934 aged 38. Although he married and according to my grandmother had 2 boys, he split from his wife and by 1930. His father had him commited to Bridgend asylum. I have the records for this but as I do not know if his family are still alive it is probably best not to publish them!
Their second child was Charles, born 1898, he died age 43 in 1941, he married freda board and they had a daughter named Sheila, whom I believe to be alive.
Then they had David Thomas in 1908 (my grandfather), he died in 1959 age 50.
And lastly they had Edith Ann born in 1911 and died in1943 Nov 23. (she died whilst pregnaunt of complications.
My grandfather known as tom, married my grandmother annie mary, in 1936, who was born in 1913 and is still alive.They had 3 children ann, born 1937, david gwyn born in 1940 and my father edward russell born in June 1943.All are still alive.
My father, edward russell(known as russell) married Georgina pearl davies in 1964.They went on to have me virginia sara smith 1964, my brother roderick desmond born 1965, Deborah louise born 1967 and kirsty clare born 1968.
I married in 1886 to Andrew glyn tilby (now divorced) and have 2 girls rebecca laura born 1986 and charlotte amelia born 1992.
I have hugh amounts of information on my grandmother, annie mary and also my mums family the davies, don't know how far you want to go.
